Electrical Engineer

The Challenge:

What if you could use your engineering skills to transform national security? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to performing engineering work in the planning, design, production, and maintenance of electric or electronic components, apparatus, or circuitry. Support building and structural renovation projects, review technical drawings, provide operations and maintenance guidance, conduct surveys, and analyze electrical power systems and electronic equipment.

We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to manage project design or construction efforts, including schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight, managing and evaluating construction contractor performance, integrating and coordinating projects with field personnel, evaluating, validating, and managing project change requests, and providing official weekly project status reports. Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders. Analyze and monitor project schedules and budgets, provide technical guidance and assistance with contracting and construction-related issues, direct design efforts, recommend construction documents for approval, and oversee any follow-on maintenance programs. Ensure timely input of all data, comments, and documentation into the MAXIMO software project management tool and ensure the integration of all systems, including IT, telephone, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.

Our team supports building or structural renovation projects, reviewing technical drawings, providing operations and maintenance guidance, conducting surveys, and analyzing electrical power systems and electronic equipment. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, to help us with the planning, design, production, and maintenance of electric or electronic components, apparatus, or circuitry. You’ll work in and gain knowledge of industrial and commercial power systems. This is a chance to grow your experience in power systems design, electrical systems operations and maintenance, power systems protection, and electrical systems project management. Join us and take on exciting challenges in national security as we support and improve industrial and commercial power systems.
