The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to manage project design or construction efforts, including schedule, funding, day-to-day project oversight, managing and evaluating construction contractor performance, integrating and coordinating projects with field personnel, providing official weekly project status reports, and evaluating, validating, and managing project change requests. You’ll prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders. You’ll analyze and monitor project schedules and budgets, provide technical guidance and assistance with contracting and construction-related issues, direct design efforts, recommend construction documents for approval, and oversee any follow-on maintenance programs. You’ll ensure timely input of all data, comments, and documentation into the MAXIMO software project management tool and ensure the integration of all electrical systems.
Our team supports building or structural renovation projects, reviewing technical drawings, providing operations and maintenance guidance, conducting surveys, and analyzing electrical power systems and electronic equipment. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, to help us with the planning, design, production, and maintenance of electric or electronic components, apparatus, or circuitry. You’ll work in and gain knowledge of industrial and commercial power systems. You Have:
10+ years of experience working in a professional environment
5+ years of experience in specialized, high-assigned field of facilities electrical power systems, including low, medium, and high voltage power, mechanical systems, fire protection, construction, commercial facility electrical distribution systems, emergency and standby power systems, SCADA, and short circuit and protective device coordination
Experience with commercial and industrial power systems, mechanical HVAC systems, fire protection, and construction
Experience reviewing design documentation and identifying deficiencies, inaccuracies, and noncompliance issues with the design intent
Ability to manage commercial facility electrical design and construction projects
Ability to evaluate conditions and draft engineering memos that provide sound engineering guidance consistent with industry best practices and all federal, state, and local codes
Ability to work with minimal oversight
Ability to review and perform engineering calculations
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in EE
Nice If You Have:
Master’s degree in EE
Professional Engineering License, EIT, or FE Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
