Job Description
Key Role:
Provide direction, expertise, and support to business units in direct support and management of Employee Relations (ER) Investigations team. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies. Report directly to senior ER manager. Assume responsibility for workforce planning, such as skills, gap analysis, and retention, ongoing analysis of investigation performance, KPI development, and performance diagnostics analysis. Identify areas for improvement, design and implementation of strategies to enhance investigations process, and employee engagement for dispersed team. Monitor and track volume of work to ensure investigations function is appropriately staffed for surge efforts and volume of work throughout the year. Provide weekly status updates to senior ER manager and senior level stakeholders, as needed. Oversee the implementation of investigation team related projects and workstreams. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in managing a function and interacting with senior level leadership, including VP and above
Experience with operating as a business advisor and using data insights to identify trends and develop measurable solutions
Experience with working cross functionally across geographic boundaries
Experience with the investigative life cycle or process from start to finish
Experience with leading process optimization efforts, including efficiencies in technology and automation
Experience with managing a large team and strategic staff development
Experience with designing and delivering on priorities and leveraging data to identify trends and gaps and developing actions to address
Experience in building relationships with key stakeholders, including Security Services, HR, Legal, Ethics, or Compliance
Ability to demonstrate success in operating as a business advisor with consultative and analytical expertise and using data insights to identify trends and develop measurable solutions.
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with EEO and business investigations or 12+ years of experience with EEO and investigations in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with performance diagnostics and implementing KPIs
Experience with Convercent
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, including legal writing expertise
Possession of excellent organizational, fact gathering, teamwork, conflict management, consultative, and analytical skills
Certified Fraud Examiner Certification a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
