Key Role:
Facilitate an effective enterprise-wide governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) program that ensures the strategic alignment of information security and broader corporate objectives. Lead with a hands-on approach that has accountability for identifying, evaluating, reporting, and managing information security risks to meet compliance and regulatory requirements and builds business confidence in the cybersecurity program. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholder teams across Booz Allen enterprise operations and client-facing teams to ensure alignment and application of practices that support business goals and meet defined policies and standards for information security.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in leadership roles in Cybersecurity or Cyber Risk
Experience tracking key metrics for the preparation of key reports and communications and presenting to governance committees, senior leaders, and regulatory bodies
Experience implementing security improvements for environments to resolve or mitigate security findings or otherwise enhance security posture to achieve compliance with all security initiatives and comply with industry regulations
Knowledge of GRC strategy to communicate vision, drive accomplishments and outcomes that further the strategy in an agile way for security risk assessments, control testing, regulatory or internal audit processes and responses, and risk management strategies
Ability to lead the creation and maintenance of a thoughtfully structured risk framework that incorporates qualitative and quantitative aspects, provides visibility and management of cyber risks, and wholly represents cybersecurity risk for the firm
Ability to lead the compliance and assurance functions within GRC to continuously evaluate cybersecurity controls to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and adherence to key controls and policies and drive remediation efforts through innovative security risk assessment processes, policies, and automation
Ability to partner with technology and security operations to reduce the number of security findings under exception
Ability to execute functional tasks and cross-functional initiatives and work collaboratively with peer leaders to develop and execute GRC program initiatives across multiple teams, functions, and programs
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of experience with working in the cyber industry in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in people management and skill development
Experience identifying problems, determining pragmatic solutions, identifying and obtaining needed resources, and executing with little or no supervision
Knowledge of Cyber Risk Management and Strategy frameworks and common enterprise threat scenarios
Knowledge of security controls and alignment to key regulations, such as NIST, FedRamp, CMMC, or SOX
Ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, change intensive environment
Ability to quickly comprehend complex problems, draw logical conclusions, make sound decisions, develop solutions, and negotiate and respond accordingly to drive closure
Ability to communicate and collaborate to effectively engage and interact with senior and executive management
Ability to foster innovation to increase efficiencies and automate manual processes
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
CISSP, CRISC, and CISM Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $118,000.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
