Enterprise Cybersecurity Operations Deputy

Key Role:

Lead a world class integrated cyber defense platform responsible for protecting mission critical services for the firm. Serve as the Enterprise Cybersecurity Operations Deputy as part of Booz Allen’s Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) team and play a leading role in protecting and defending the Booz Allen Enterprise. Demonstrate excellent leadership and prior management expertise in operating a Security Operations Center (SOC) that uses a wide variety of security tools for monitoring a large-scale global enterprise environment. Deliver the Operations team’s core services against a set of key performance indicators and critical success factors. Maintain responsibility for ensuring Operations teams are performing all required tasks in accordance with defined policies, standards, and security best practices. Coordinate response plans, lead operational readiness, and ensure the team’s capabilities are regularly pressure tested. Lead day-to-day operations management, including coordinating information sharing and collaboration between service areas, develop and maintain service management plans, maintain change control of core service changes, and ensure cross-team functions and communications are effective and occurring at appropriate intervals. Execute the strategy established by the ECS leadership team.

Basic Qualifications:

·       Experience with leading an organization guided in cyber threat intelligence  

·       Experience with leading successful cross-functional efforts across cyber teams 

·       Experience with leading cybersecurity investigations and conducting incident response activities  

·       Experience with performing vulnerability and threat assessments 

·       Knowledge of data loss prevention, cloud access broker technologies, resource management, and project execution 

·       Ability to build strategic relationships across technical, risk, legal, and security groups 

·       Ability to manage technical resources against key performance indicators strategically

·       Ability to obtain a security clearance

·       Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of experience with working in the cyber industry in lieu of a degree 

 Additional Qualifications: 

·       7+ years of experience with leading cyber capabilities 

·       Experience with participating in industry information sharing and analysis center organizations 

·       Knowledge of technical offensive or defensive cyber capabilities 

·       Ability to think critically and display thought leadership

·       Ability to comprehend complex problems quickly, draw logical conclusions, make sound decisions, develop solutions, and drive closure   

·       CISSP Certification 

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $134,600.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
