Enterprise Cybersecurity Third Party Risk Manager

Key Role:

Evolve and operationalize the Cyber Third Party Risk Management strategy to align with the evolving threat landscape and increasing number of third party and supply chain attacks. Lead with a hands-on approach that has accountability for identifying, evaluating, reporting, and managing third party cyber risks to meet project and business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholder teams and roles across Booz Allen enterprise operations and client-facing teams to ensure alignment and application of practices that support business goals and meet defined policies and standards for information security. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in leadership roles in Cybersecurity or Cyber Risk

  • 2+ years of experience with risk-based third-party cyber risk management and security assessments

  • Experience developing third party supplier risk assessment programs

  • Experience tracking key metrics for the preparation of key reports and communications and presenting to governance committees, senior leaders, and regulatory bodies

  • Experience navigating supplier capability and security discussions to evaluate technical and non-technical security controls

  • Experience supporting third party cyber incident response activities in partnership with security, legal, or crisis management teams

  • Experience mentoring and managing a high performing team, helping to prioritize workload, and focus the team’s efforts on deliverables that are most strategic and impactful for firm

  • Ability to implement third party risk tracking framework and risk mitigation strategies to understand and reduce third party cyber risks

  • Ability to foster innovation to increase efficiencies and automate manual processes, execute functional tasks and cross-functional initiatives, and work collaboratively with peer leaders to develop and execute GRC program initiatives across multiple teams, functions, and programs

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in people management and skill development

  • Experience identifying problems, determining pragmatic solutions, identifying and obtaining needed resources, and executing with little or no supervision

  • Knowledge of third party supplier cyber risks and common supplier threat scenarios

  • Ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate teams in a fast-paced, change intensive environment

  • Ability to cultivate, mentor, manage, and motivate a diverse high-performing team of security professionals and set clear priorities to achieve department goals

  • Ability to quickly comprehend complex problems, draw logical conclusions, make sound decisions, develop solutions, and negotiate and respond accordingly to drive closure

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate to effectively engage and interact with senior and executive management

  • Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
