Executive Assistant, Mid

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for the critical organization, prioritization, and scheduling for two Principals. Execute independent decisions within established guidelines and perform a full range of administrative services, including making appointments and scheduling meetings, arranging meeting logistics and invitations, conducting clerical duties, such as copying, mailing, and processing purchase orders and invoices, fielding staff questions, organizing information using Excel, completing expense reports online for the executives, and providing other administrative assistance, as assigned. Make travel arrangements and serve as the team expert on matters pertaining to administrative procedures. Organize and maintain filing systems, work in a team of administrative professionals, and provide backup for one another, as needed. Work comfortably with technical and business vocabulary and apply expertise in company operations, organizational procedures, and personnel. Perform proofreading, word processing, and spreadsheet and graphics support, as needed and provide support to administrative functions, including computer ordering, onboarding, and meeting logistics.

 

Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience with providing executive-level administrative support in a large, corporate environment
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-Experience with calendar management, making domestic and international travel arrangements, managing and preparing expense reports, and planning meetings
-Ability to manage multiple activities and inputs across executives and team and help consolidate them with strict attention to detail
-Ability to leverage organizational and prioritization expertise and multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to commute to McLean, Arlington, and Alexandria, VA, as needed
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED

-Possession of excellent customer service skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
