Job Description
Key Role:
Design and execute an Executive Top Talent identification process that aligns with strategic enterprise objectives by enabling leader development at the most senior levels. Identify key leadership success factors, competencies, and derailers and use them to inform the development of robust, objective criteria for identifying executive top talent. Design impactful, results-oriented developmental experiences for identified talent, that increase leader readiness for succession. Partner with broader executive talent management teams and Sector and Enterprise Organization HR Business partners to deliver processes and guidance that are informed by business needs. Serve as the practice lead for key talent management practice areas including succession management, successor assessment, top talent identification, and development priorities in alignment with the overall firmwide executive talent management and development strategy. Engage with an array of senior-level stakeholders with presence and preparedness. Quickly aggregate, analyze, and synthesize information to enhance the decision-making capabilities of Booz Allen Executives. Possess an eye for detail and support quality, high-profile deliverables that tell a story and influence senior leaders. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience with leading senior top talent identification and development or succession planning programs and processes at a Fortune 500 organization
- Experience working with senior executive-level leaders on talent planning and development initiatives
- Experience with consultative approaches that blend functional expertise and business acumen to meet internal clients where they are
- Ability to build and deepen trusted senior relationships, shape, and influence outcomes and approaches with data and key talent insights about individual leaders and performance in the context of the client’s market, account, or business groups
- Ability to design and implement automated, data-driven initiatives that move the meter in talent management, including accelerating development and top talent readiness
- Ability to rally enterprise partners and leverage matrixed relationships to drive results
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in a related talent development field, including leadership development, learning and development, or human capital planning
- Experience with automating succession planning in WorkDay
- Knowledge of Human Capital disciplines, including competency modeling and role analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Master's degree in Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development or Behavior, Human Resources, Business Management, HR Talent Consulting, or Education
- Leadership Personality and Talent Assessments used for senior audiences, including Hogan or DISC Certifications
- Completion of a coaching program accredited by the International Coaching Federation or equivalent

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
