FISINT Signals Analyst

Key Role:

Leverage specialized technical experience and signals analysis processes to help collect and analyze complex data. Derive sense-making from SIGINT and non-SIGINT data to help drive operations against the most challenging mission requirements supporting warfighters, protecting national security, and informing national leaders. Work with a high-performing team against the most challenging technical efforts to grow and develop new expertise and share methodologies with other analysts. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT) technical analysis 
  • Experience with developing accurate signal chronologies and determining relationships between related signals 
  • Knowledge of classified and unclassified databases to use for baseline research of platforms of interest 
  • Ability to characterize various communication technologies using signals analysis tools, including M2Extra, XMIDAS, DVT, and WVT 
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with signal analysis, Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with signal analysis, or Master's degree and 2+ years of experience with signal analysis

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with evaluating and improving tools for collection, analysis, and processing 
  • Experience with implementing new signal processing and exploitation techniques in Python or C++ 
  • Knowledge of processes and tools related to technical FISINT and other technical SIGINT disciplines 
  • Knowledge of client requirements and oversight policies 
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment 
  • Ability to provide briefing and training on in-depth FISINT analysis and collection 
  • Ability to evaluate system inaccuracies and enable system accuracy improvements 
  • Graduate of 3810, 4810, 450, 451, or other signals analysis courses

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
