FP&A Analyst, Lead

Key Role:

Serve as the project control analyst lead for a growing Civil account. Adapt to change on a regular basis and deliver timely and accurate analysis to account executives. Gather and interpret complex financial data. Partner with account executives and business partners to incorporate all relevant information into financial analytics to develop executive insights and perspectives, identify business trends, and recommend action plans. Develop recommendations and executive reports for management and perform analysis of financial data related to business performance. Manage the day-to-day activities of a small FP&A team responsible for developing and reporting against annual and long-range strategic plans and the, bottoms-up forecast process and develop strategies to identify and minimize financial risks in accordance with our ERM process effectively. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with financial analytics

  • 5+ years of experience with leading an accounting or finance function

  • Experience with reporting and analyzing operations or business results for business units of $500M+ in annual revenue

  • Experience with using Microsoft Excel, including creating detailed financial, analytical, and scenario-based models and teaching and coaching staff

  • Ability to communicate financial information efficiently and effectively

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cost Point, Tableau, Deltek, and SmartView, including Excel Add-In

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
