Job Description
Key Role:
Develop a team of high-performing compensation professionals to execute all aspects of domestic and international salary planning and bonus plan management, including salary planning the company’s benchmarking and market analysis, Workday and reporting requirements, user acceptance testing, developing communication artifacts, executing a multi-channel communication plan, training business leaders, performing necessary audits, participating in post-cycle experience feedback sessions, bonus plan management, establishing annual bonus targets, ranges and structures, bonus distribution process, partnering with finance to determine appropriate accruals and regulatory reserve, modelling year-end bonus payout scenarios for Board approval, and co-developing and refreshing company incentive pay programs. Lead the pay equity review, OFCCP, and DCAA audits. Drive important initiatives related to compensation programs, manage project plans, including identification of all deliverables, milestones, timeline, and responsible parties, and identify streamlining opportunities. Serve as a strategic business advisor to the leadership team and other stakeholders, including finance, business leaders, legal, tax, and regulatory compliance organizations, to ensure a competitive compensation position, employee experience, and cost-effective employee value proposition. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in compensation for a publicly traded company with 10,000+ employees and a large global footprint
7+ years of experience applying advanced theories, principles, and concepts to develop solutions to complex projects, including base pay architecture and differentiated reward programs
7+ years of experience with domestic and international compensation surveys, analyses, budgets, plans, and implementation
7+ years of experience with H.R. technologies, including HRIS systems, H.R. law, compensation management, salary planning, workforce analytics, Microsoft Office applications, project administration, and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
5+ years of experience in working with a wide latitude of direction and support, including advising leaders, building relationships, and serving as a results-oriented change agent
5+ years of experience with supervision and development of junior compensation professionals
Ability to think creatively, provide strategic thought leadership, and influence at all levels of the organization
Ability to leverage consulting expertise, untangle complex problems, and make recommendations to help the company scale quickly
Ability to successfully lead and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and pivot quickly in a growth mindset
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in a Workday environment preferred
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including DCAA and dealing with DCAA or any regulatory body on compensation matters preferred
Knowledge of the key drivers, issues, constraints of the business and the external market landscape
Ability to demonstrate excellent business orientation
Ability to deliver client-ready products
Possession of effective verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $134,600.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
