Global Defense Sector Strategy Analyst

As a Global Defense Sector Strategy Analyst , you’re passionate about helping organizations understand and reach their goals. You find fulfillment in that “ah-ha!” moment when your clients or leaders realize you just showed them how to transform their organization. We’re looking for someone like you—an experienced strategy consultant who can identify an organization’s long-term goals and explain how to achieve them.

This is an opportunity to have an impact on Booz Allen’s Global Defense Sector. The Global Defense Sector meets the needs of our clients as they take on our nation's most pressing challenges around the globe. As a strategy analyst on our team, you’ll engage with leaders in Booz Allen’s Defense Sector to help them develop our strategy and bring it to life. You have a curiosity mindset and will ask the right questions to draw out our objectives and vision. You’ll help translate strategies and goals into meaningful implementation across the Defense Sector. You will join a fast-paced team to support the development of our business, distilling industry trends, leading analyses, and reporting on core strategic issues. You will support portfolio analysis to characterize our business in the context of missions and capabilities. You’ll help explore how we should build our capabilities and generate business cases. You’ll help track strategic investments and the return on that investment. Work with us and lead change for the better in Booz Allen’s Global Defense Sector. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in the defense industry, defense consulting, corporate strategy, corporate operations, corporate finance, or defense market analysis

  • 3+ years of experience distilling complex information, developing insights, and generating work products to support a fast-paced workflow environment

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment, collaborating when needed and completing tasks with minimal oversight

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, and prioritize the most important tasks

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail

  • Bachelor's degree in Strategy, Operations, Business, Finance, or Change Management

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Data management using Microsoft Excel

  • Experience in supporting enterprise-wide change, including strategy development, or strategy implementation

  • Experience in Project Management

  • Knowledge of Booz Allen's culture

  • Possession of excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills 

  • Possession of excellent analytical skills

  • Possession of excellent time-management and organizational skills

  • Change Management Certifications such as PMP, PROSCI, LaMarsh, or CMAP

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
