Guard Force Senior Manager

The Opportunity:

As the Guard Force Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing the firm’s contracted guard force at company locations across the U.S., including in McLean, VA. As a leader, you will provide strategic planning, implementation, and management of guard force personnel and resources to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and business operations with an immediate priority of strengthening and optimizing our guard force operations. You will ensure that the guard force program aligns with overall security organization and company priorities and includes continuous improvement and refinement of processes, protocols, and appropriate technology. You’ll establish and maintain clear operational guidelines, performance metrics, and accountability structures for the guard force, ensuring consistency and quality across all sites. You’ll conduct comprehensive risk assessments specifically focused on guard force deployment and effectiveness, adapting strategies to mitigate potential threats and collaborate with the Crisis and Emergency Management program to enhance guard force response capabilities during emergencies and crisis events. You’ll manage the guard force budget, ensuring funds are allocated efficiently and impactfully to support guard force excellence. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in physical security and guard force operations

  • Experience producing leadership results and interacting with employees at all levels

  • Experience with security technologies related to guards, gates, and guns

  • Experience managing security projects from inception to completion

  • Experience managing third-party contracts, taking accountability for quantifiable results, and establishing excellent vendor leadership relationships

  • Knowledge of corporate security operations, including interdependencies with key business partners such as risk management, legal, human resources, information technology, and facilities management

  • Knowledge of crisis management standards

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $125,300.00 to $233,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
