Job Description
Key Role:
Work as a member of a team conducting security analysis impacting the client’s current cybersecurity capabilities. Assist with coordinating assessment logistics, conduct kick-off meetings, examine system documentation, interview appropriate system stakeholders, test system technical security configuration settings, and review Nessus scan results for compliance requirements. Assist other team members with the assessment process and assist with developing control assessment reports (CAR) that clearly identify each finding and recommended mitigation actions. Communicate with system stakeholders to promote understanding.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with solution engineering and analysis of large complex enterprise vulnerability management systems
Experience in working directly with clients to gather system and network information to help create and update cyber security solutions
Experience with planning assessments and performing as a senior member in a team of security control assessors
Experience with maintaining a secure cyber environment through configuration management, administration, and response actions
Experience with NIST security controls, the governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) security documentation tool, the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and security compliance
Experience with Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) security boundaries
Knowledge of different types of physical and virtual IT assets
Ability to develop alternative solutions to support large complex enterprise vulnerability management systems
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics and 5 years of experience with information security or 13 years of experience with information security
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with cloud technology offerings from AWS and Azure and assessing systems hosted in those environments
CISSP, Security+, CISA, CEH, or CRISC Certification
Vetting:
Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; Public Trust determination is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
