Job Description
Key Role:
Serve as Senior Manager and operational lead for the Firm’s Insider Risk Mitigation Program (IRMP), leading a team of multi-disciplinary security professionals, including Continuous Evaluation, User Behavior Analytics, Risk Analysis and Mitigation, primarily in the Washington Metro Area. Assume responsibility for the overall daily operations of the program and intra-firm coordination via a hub construct. Report to the firm’s Director of Personnel Vetting and Risk Mitigation with a dual direct line to the Firm’s Insider Threat Program Senior Official, Chief Security Officer, and VP of Security Services. Work closely with the firm’s other business disciplines, including Cyber Security, Human Resources, Legal, Counterintelligence, Personnel Security and Vetting, Physical Security, and others, to detect, deter, and mitigate the risk of insider threats to the firm’s information, facilities, personnel, and reputation, with an additional responsibility to ensure the IRMP complies with or exceeds government Insider Threat Program and reporting requirements. Leverage a high degree of diplomacy, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to implement vision and set priorities to drive efficiencies and effectiveness. Coach and develop second tier leaders and cultivate internal and external networks to enhance mission success.
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years of experience leading security teams in the public or private sector
10+ years of experience with Insider Threat mitigation or Personnel Vetting and Counterintelligence
5+ years of experience with supporting or executing government policies and procedures
Experience with building and managing high-performing security programs and teams
Knowledge of National and Federal Agency regulations pertaining to Insider Threat programs
Ability to form holistic risk mitigation strategies
Ability to lead teams through change and develop team members into “mission essential” partners with other corporate disciplines
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with policy writing
Experience with providing subject matter expertise in Industry or Government Security Community
Ability to problem-solve and deliver innovative solutions
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree
Insider Threat Professional Certification, such as Certified Counter-Insider Threat Professional - Analysis (CCITP-A) or CCITP – Fundamentals (CCITP-F)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $134,600.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
