People Operations Lead

Key Role:

Designs, implements, and maintains organizational programs in support of people strategy and operations. Provide support to GDS leadership in the areas relating to Recruiting, Retention and People programs. Serve as the GDS People Operations Lead, working across the Sector and Global Defense People Services to drive the integration and execution of the People strategy. Support the Sector in planning and executing a wide range of business initiatives in support of the People programs. Manage and execute the Sector bench management activities, participate in leadership bench review meetings. Work with Global Defense People Services to drive recruiting and contract transition activities, new hire orientation and TechX hiring and management activities. Provide monthly and ad-hoc progress reports for all activities. Provide data and analysis to support key strategic decisions. Manage and provide direction to supporting team members. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in professional services 

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex programs in professional services 

  • Experience with developing and executing business strategies and supporting initiatives

  • Ability to gather and analyze data and develop strategic business content

  • Ability to thrive as a self-starter, work as an individual contributor, and deliver outcomes based on high-level guidance and expectations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with agility and adaptability while leading positively through ambiguity and change

  • Ability to handle multiple, competing time and project demands and deliver expected results on schedule

  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with senior leaders and staff

  • Ability to build and lead a matrixed team and work through others to accomplish goals and deliver outcomes

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with managing enterprise business risks and implementing organizations processes for risk mitigation

  • Ability to learn new tools, platforms, and processes quickly

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $158,800.00 to $295,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
