Personnel Security Senior Manager

Key Role:

Serve as Senior Associate and operational lead for the Firm’s consolidated Public Trust processing team, and as the program manager for the Firm’s Security Services clearance Information Technology system. Lead a team of multi-disciplinary security professionals to deliver effective and efficient operational services and technology to enable the Firm’s intended growth strategy, primarily in the Washington Metro Area. Report to the Firm’s Director of Personnel Vetting and Risk Mitigation. Work closely and primarily with Security Services and the Firm’s other business disciplines, including IT, contracting, HR, Facility Security Officers, Counterintelligence, or Physical Security, to deliver products and capabilities ahead of need to ensure compliance with government and Firm requirements. Participate and coordinate with other Industry associations and government partners to ensure our programs keep pace with and anticipate upcoming changes in policies and programmatic changes. Implement vision and set priorities to drive efficiencies and effectiveness. Coach and develop second tier leaders and cultivate internal and external networks to enhance mission success.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with leading security teams in public or private sector

  • 10+ years of experience with supporting or executing government procedures

  • 5+ years of experience with National and Federal Agency regulations pertaining Public Trust or Personnel Security and Vetting

  • 5+ years of experience with Security Clearance systems, including in government and industry

  • Experience with managing high-performing program security teams

  • Ability to form holistic program evolution strategies

  • Ability to lead teams through change and develop team members into mission essential partners with other corporate disciplines

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with policy writing

  • Experience with subject matter expertise in Industry or Government Security Community

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master’s degree

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Government Security Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $103,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
