Job Description
Key Role:
Lead a team of pricing analysts or perform as SME in cost modeling, risk identification, and mitigation techniques, profit analysis, price, and competitive business analyses through proposals and product price development for the firm, primarily focused on solutions-based opportunities not governed by the FAR. Work closely with account leaders and proposal teams to guide the greater proposal team to provide accurate and competitive cost estimates with appropriately scaled BOE for seamless integration with our price submission on a wide range of proposals across a large portfolio of business. Drive collaboration in developing and accessing pricing targets, estimating, risk mitigation, and business strategies, review and analyze key opportunities, and assess and suggest proposal strategies to achieve pricing and business objectives, compliance with requirements, and preferred and refined bid strategy. Perform product-based analyses on competitive cost, price trends, and historical sale price points for specific products and lead the development of commercial solutions-type proposal practices and tools. Assess and recommend strategies in the context of contract vehicles, teaming and subcontract agreements, reseller agreements, licensing of products, and proposals to government and commercial clients, monitor pricing performance for competitiveness and business performance, and resolve or escalate problems that may impact competitiveness, performance, or execution. Collaborate with other leaders to analyze metrics and streamline processes. Ensure cost and price proposals are prepared in accordance with FAR, CAS, and Corporate Disclosure Statement. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience pricing in the federal government environment
Experience with pricing contract types
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Knowledge of developing product pricing models and financial analyses, including value tradeoffs, licensing, cashflow, profitability, and warranty or risk assessment
Ability to counsel proposal teams on price strategy based on historical data
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience pricing and developing price volumes in response to non-FAR based solicitations, including Other Transactions (OT), Commercial Solutions Openings (CSO), and Broad Agency Announcements
Experience developing or delivering price strategy presentations or analyses and training to executives and key decision-makers
Experience with using Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of system integration and the use of information technology and advanced intelligence systems and tools
Ability to support a fast-paced, high-volume, and diverse workload
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Contracts

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
