Pricing Strategy, Senior Manager

Key Role:

Lead complex pricing strategy and cost engineering in service to Booz Allen’s Growth function for corporate designated federal priorities. Assist with winning pricing strategies that identify the highest winning price by balancing cost elements and financial performance objectives with competitor strategies and client requirements. Leverage exceptional strategic thinking and teamwork capabilities, excellent comprehension of business development functions, and capacity to communicate and synthesize multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture management, pricing, and market and account execution. Assist the team with pursuing opportunities and developing capture and pricing strategies, analysis of cost elements and integration with larger objectives, competitive assessments, buying and spending trends, data synthesis, and win strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with price strategy, capture, and business development
  • 10+ years of experience with research, data gathering or analysis, quantitative modeling, strategy development, and briefing
  • 7+ years of experience developing and delivering Price Strategy for Federal Government clients
  • 5+ years of experience with in-depth cost or price manipulation, or finance or accounting principles
  • Experience in functional price modeling capability with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and developing and using Work Breakdown Structures
  • Experience with multi-hundred million to multi-billion dollar professional services bids
  • Ability to research and communicate competitor price strategy, cost implications associated with alternative solutions, risk mitigation, and competitive landscape with senior leadership
  • Ability to identify impacts and risks on delivery associated with pricing strategies implemented in the proposal
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience leading and managing a team of analysts
  • Experience leading contract pursuit color teams  
  • Experience with FEDSIM experience
  • Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $153,400.00 to $285,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
