Project Control Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Leverage knowledge of full contract life cycles, including pricing strategy and proposal review, award review and oversight, such as participation in kick off meetings, and briefing oversight to ensure accurate execution and invoicing. Manage all contract financial activities related to project cost schedule, including, monthly status reports, expense review and approvals, and subcontractor invoice review and approvals. Generate ad-hoc financial reports and perform management of contracts, including tracking and reporting on all financial details and interacting with multiple stakeholders, such as internal and external clients, subcontractors, and others to manage execution and ensure accurate, timely invoicing and receipt requirements. Perform financial forecasting and prepare and analyze detailed financial reports and briefs monthly for internal and external clients. Establish project control and reporting processes and procedures, including planning, scheduling, cost analysis, and compliance management for your project portfolio. Provide risk mitigation and manage reserves and assist with analyzing business or budget planning and financial analyses. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with program and project financial management
  • Experience with government contracting
  • Experience with using Microsoft Excel, advanced formulas, and its effective use in a financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environment
  • Knowledge of GAAP, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and Joint Travel Regulations require
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with providing program control or financial management support in a government contracting environment
  • Experience in a management role
  • Ability to be a team player, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues with a team effectively
  • Ability to learn and teach fundamentals related to the support of program management activities
  • Ability to respond to directed assignments, think analytically, and comprehend financial implications of the business
  • Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
