Job Description
Key Role:
Architect and implement security solutions in alignment with security strategy and maintain an awareness of market and technology trends to bring best of breed solutions to the client. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies. Develop innovative defensive security principles and ideas. Work on complex problems and provide solutions that are highly creative. Act as a team leader on programs and projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives and contribute to technical proposal responses and technical whitepapers.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with Cybersecurity, Engineering, or Information Technology (IT)
Experience with 24x7x365 cybersecurity teams
Experience with eMASS, HBSS, RMF, and threat hunting tools
Experience with incident response or analysis
Knowledge of cybersecurity operations, including monitoring, detection, and analysis, incident response, solutions architecture and engineering, and tools deployment, integration, and support
Knowledge of the integration of threat intelligence, threat hunt, forensics, and malware analysis into security operations
Ability to analyze emerging technologies and design and build architectures and solutions to enable secure implementation of new technologies
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or IT
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with application security, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, data loss prevention, end-point detection, deep-packet analysis, firewalls, IDS and IPS, log analysis, or malware analysis
Experience with project management, risk, and compliance
Experience with security analytics and visualization, SIEM tools, and Python
Knowledge of security policies, procedures, processes, and regulations
Knowledge of storage and data management, system virtualization, threat intelligence, and vulnerability assessment
Ability to communicate with management and other technical subject matter experts and operators
Ability to display flexibility and excellent judgment and coordinate multiple, concurrent tasks in an effective manner
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
TS/SCI clearance
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
