Security Administrator

Key Role:
Serve as a Security Specialist for the Booz Allen Corporate Industrial Security Team. Ensure the implementation of policies and procedures resulting in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, including National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other government regulations, as applicable. Assist with the control and accountability of classified information, including marking, receipt, wrapping, transmission, inventory, and destruction. Provide client facing staff with classified mail pick-up and transmission and procedures for the proper safeguarding of classified information while ensuring mission success. Assist with the maintenance, inventory, transmission, and receipt of COMSEC equipment and materials. Support the Corporate FSO and Alternate FSOs with Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) order management, incident reports, administrative inquiries, and classified conferences. Coordinate with team members on the construction and maintenance of Open Storage Areas and other secure spaces. Maintain records of all incoming Visit Authorization Requests, foreign visits to the facility, and GSA-approved security container records.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a security specialist supporting the NISPOM and DoD collateral security guidance

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and to foster a positive work environment

  • Ability to enforce compliance requirements in high pressure environments

  • Ability to work tasks to completion with minimal supervision

  • Ability to interpret security requirements for classified contracts, including DD254s

  • Top Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Completion of CDSE coursework

Additional Qualifications:

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $47,000.00 to $96,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
