We’re looking for an experienced developer with the software engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients. 

As a software developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. Using your software engineering experience, you’ll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have: 

  • Experience with designing, developing, and implementing features for a Java application

  • Experience with web services

  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

  • Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies, including Agile and Scrum

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with large database implementations and analysis

  • Experience with Core Java or J2EE, Angular and Spring Framework

  • Experience in coordinating with customers and stakeholders on requirements and negotiating on API design and specifications using OpenAPI and implementing changes

  • Experience with WebLogic or JBOSS, web services, including SOAP or REST, myBATIS, Maven, or ANT, and databases, including MySQL, NoSQL, or Oracle

  • Experience with Agile or Scrum

  • Experience with analyzing DoD policy or procedures

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines, and responsibilities

  • Ability to distill complex problems through the application of design patterns

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • CompTIA Security+ Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
