This role is more than just coding. As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:   

  • 2+ years of experience solutioning and developing systems and services using full stack technologies such as REST and SOAP, along with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Frameworks, JAX-RS, Istio, SOAP UI, ReactJS, MongoDB, and Cloud application and infrastructure on AWS
  • 2+ years of experience developing software using Java 11 and above, API Security, policy creation, and enforcement and integration models
  • 1+ years of experience developing Microservice applications and APIs, identifying API candidates, wrapping components into full scale RESTful services, implementing open-source solutions, and integration of services deployed using CI/CD pipelines on cloud for large enterprises
  • Knowledge of IT architectural paradigms and concepts, Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code, Containers, Images, DevOps, and event-driven architecture (EDA) models
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience creating services Software API Gateway, mainframe technologies, Container platforms, including OpenShift or Elastic Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline deployments 
  • Experience with project, task, and team leadership
  • Experience working within the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
  • Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
