The Opportunity:

As an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need a seasoned research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our criminal justice team, you’ll lead the evaluation of data assessment strategies such as sampling, statistical analysis, evaluation, flow processing, and management assessment to deliver solutions.

You won’t go at it alone, you’ll guide team members to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic and/or cost data such as sampling, life cycle cost models, what-if analysis and forensic studies. Once documented, you’ll oversee the development of program briefs, documentations, presentations, graphs, and other visualizations to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and hold various program meetings to improve program efficiency.

In this role, you’ll share your passion for analytics and statistics to devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques such as linear programming, probability theory, symbolic language and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.

Use your high-level operations research expertise to develop technologies and concepts that advance criminal justice forensics.

You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience providing information modeling, requirement analysis and facilitation using methodologies such as Integration Definition (IDEF)

  • Experience devising modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, operational mathematics techniques, including linear programming or symbolic language, and laws of scientific disciplines

  • Experience with complex statistical analyses

  • Experience with developing or directing the development of timely project reports that are organized, clear, and in an appropriate format

  • Ability to perform tasks of significant technical complexity, including applying established theories, concepts, and techniques

  • Ability to develop or direct the development of innovative and creative technical solutions to problems, questions, and issues, using state-of-the-art methods and technology

  • Ability to perform work with minimal supervision and guidance

  • Public Trust

  • Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
