Systems Engineering Life Cycle Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Support system engineering activities and oversight across a large federal Cybersecurity program. Interface with engineering teams and program leadership to address engineering challenges. Guide the engineering teams through the government’s System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) phases and milestones in a consistent manner while working closely with all stakeholders to ensure the scope and technical approach is accurately tailored to the work being performed. Maximize the program’s success when passing through contractual review milestones, including SELC by working across the organization to tailor and monitor gate criteria and deliverables. Review engineering documentation to ensure related activities and artifacts both meet client expectations and are impactful to the success of the project.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with systems engineering and technical, requirements, or test management

-Experience with applying engineering life cycles to software or IT-intensive solutions

-Experience with writing concise and impactful process and guidance documentation to help drive standard engineering practices across the program

-Ability to work across technical and program management teams to perform daily tasks and communicate issues

-Knowledge of software engineering concepts, including Cloud, enterprise services, and security and Cybersecurity capabilities

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with program schedules and engineering roadmaps

-Knowledge of general system engineering principles and adoption practices

-Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall software life cycle approaches

-Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Configuration Management best practices

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
