As a digital systems engineer within our Global Defense market, you will apply your systems engineering expertise to deliver digital engineering solutions across multiple programs. You will develop system and system element architectures, designs, and interface definitions while supporting necessary internal and external reviews. Additionally, you will maintain knowledge of current and developing technologies and design/analysis methodologies. You will assist in the development of models and influence architectural guidelines for current and future system development.
This position will require travel within the US, when necessary to accommodate corporate and client needs.

You Have:
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering using model-based systems engineering tools and methodologies
- Experience developing requirements and performing requirements management
- Experience developing systems test programs including master test plans, test plans, and procedures
- Experience developing reference architectures, executable architectures, modeling IT systems and alignment of architectures with designs
- Experience interfacing with engineering teams and creating relationships between requirements, architecture and design, and test artifacts utilizing model-based methodologies
- Experience with digital engineering toolsets, including IBM DOORS NextGen, Dassault MagicDraw family of products, Windchill or TeamCenter, Syndeia, and Atlassian Jira
- Knowledge of systems engineering life cycle concepts
- Knowledge of facilitating, conducting, and organizing reviews, including internal and external briefings, and managing action items
- Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
Nice if You Have:
- Experience with telework and virtual work environments, including Microsoft Teams and WebEx
- Experience developing model-based systems engineering aligned models for Department of Defense (DoD) communications systems or systems of systems
- Knowledge of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 systems engineering life cycle processes
- Knowledge of the Agile development methodology, associated toolsets, and roles
- Ability to lead, coach, and direct activities to achieve a trusted technical solution
- Ability to effectively communicate with subject matter experts and end users to assist in the development of hardware and software solutions
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree in Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, Software, or Electrical Engineering
- Systems Engineering or Architecture Accreditation Certification, including INCOSE ASEP or CSEP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
