Technical Project Manager

The Opportunity:

We're a fast-paced, highly collaborative software engineering team building and launching capability for Enterprise web-based systems in the cybersecurity field. We're looking for a passionate, customer-focused, highly technical PM (TPM) in software engineering and cybersecurity. You'll have the opportunity to work on automation of nation-level, mission-critical Cyber defense processes, workflows, and sensor data in security risk management, compliance, and continuous monitoring.

You know that TPMs touch multiple parts of the business and wear multiple hats. You'll be responsible for interfacing with customers and driving the full SDLC from requirements analysis and design to implementation and testing as both a technical individual contributor and leader.

You Have: 

  • 6+ years of experience working on software development teams
  • 3+ years of experience as a technical individual contributor
  • 1+ years of experience as a technical manager of cross-functional engineering teams
  • Experience in software engineering or cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of solutions architecture, web technologies, web applications, product management, relational databases, software systems and networks, and security
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance to drive, schedule, and execute efforts for new solutions, features, integrations, deployments, and operations
  • Ability to drive and execute analyst and engineering tasks based on customer use cases, dependencies, and priorities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Vulnerability Management
  • Experience with Agile and DevSecOps processes, tools, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Experience with CI/CD, AWS, and Containers
  • Experience with C#/.NET, JavaScript, IIS, SQL, and PowerShell
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in CS or a related field  
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
