Travel Risk Analyst

Key Role:

Support the Security Service’s team in its mission to protect the firm’s most important asset, its people. Work within Security Services which is the firm’s focal point for crisis management and response globally. Monitor and report employee high and elevated-risk business travel. Support the implementation and day-to-day administration of a preventative, proactive program that ensures appropriate mitigation plans, including safety, communication, and accountability, are in place to reduce risk and minimize potential impact in the event of an emergency or crisis situation. Leverage various intelligence tools to maintain situational awareness of global situations and collaborate with external vendors and the internal team on situations that could affect employees’ safety. Provide support in response to evolving situations ranging from emergency medical to security assistance globally.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Security Specialist or Travel Risk Manager

  • Experience working in a high-risk environment, including OCONUS

  • Experience with reviewing or developing risk mitigation plans

  • Experience with managing and coordinating responses during complex crisis situations

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working in corporate security or government agencies 

  • Ability to work and cover on-call responsibilities and react to emergencies as they occur 24/7

  • Ability to consolidate, create, and brief findings based on analysis

  • Ability to leverage expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
