Delphi Multi-tiered Desktop Application Developer

Key Role:

Support the client’s mission by developing quality software within a structured and mature software development life cycle environment, preferably an agile development environment. Work closely with the customer and team members, especially the Functional Analyst, Software Quality Assurance (SQA), and other developers to ensure that modifications and enhancements to existing software and development of new software products provide efficient and effective solutions for the customer. Be involved in all aspects of application development, including analysis, requirements documentation, design, development and test site deployment and issue tracking and resolution. Work closely and take direction from the lead Delphi Developer and the Project Manager. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with Delphi development
  • Knowledge of development of new functionality and modification to existing applications. 
  • Ability to design, develop, test, and deploy software
  • Ability to defect resolution and issue tracking
  • Ability to participate in agile development life cycle to include daily scrum calls, sprint planning and build planning
  • Ability to assist and work with other Delphi developers and Mumps developers, and work in Jira to track and update status on work activities
  • Ability to portray written and verbal communication skills required to work with team members and assist with documentation to include but not limited to software documentation, work activities, issue tracking, technical manuals, and other work processes
  • Ability to portray high standards, results oriented, and a commitment to delivering high quality production time  
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 3+ years of experience in computer science in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working with VistA integration development
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira, Service Now and GitHub 
  • Experience with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level
  • Knowledge of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 or 9001:2001, and ITIL a plus 
  • Ability to travel, as needed

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
