Job Description
The Opportunity:
Whether it’s process improvement, performance measurement, or business management analysis, organizational change management comes down to one thing: learning how an organization works and making it better. Although many companies know where they want to go, getting there can be a challenge. Thankfully, that’s what you do: improve the systems that move entire organizations forward. It’s why we’re looking for someone like you—an organizational transformation and change consultant who can help identify long-term goals and support the creation of the processes needed to achieve them.
Are you looking for an opportunity to use your organizational leadership expertise to make an impact in veteran’s access to healthcare? As the Academic Affiliate Relations lead, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust network of VA academic affiliations in the VA’s community care network. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of a scheduling Software as a Service (SaaS) solution across all VA sites by facilitating the onboarding of academic affiliate providers to enable a seamless appointment scheduling service for the veterans.
The Academic relations team will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive analysis of the VA’s existing network of academic affiliations in the community care network and identifying gaps and opportunities for onboarding providers into the digital scheduling SaaS. The team will collaborate with the customer and SaaS provider to ensure successful integration of academic affiliate providers into the network. You will develop and execute an academic affiliations engagement strategy to establish relationships and communicating the benefits of joining the SaaS digital scheduling implementation. The team will conduct outreach activities, including meetings and presentations to educate and onboard academic affiliations.
The Academic affiliate relations lead is responsible for coordinating the onboarding process, ensuring they have the necessary access and training to participate in the digital scheduling system. You will collaborate with the training team to develop materials and resources for provider training. You will act as the main point of contact for academic affiliate related inquiries and issues and maintain a positive relationship across clinical providers and their representatives.
