Job Description
Key Role:
Analyze the cyber posture of complex Navy systems and provide critical expertise to mitigate cyber risk. Develop solutions to ensure Navy programs support mission critical operations and deliver needed cybersecurity functionality. Collaborate with a team of experts to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate customer needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. Investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. Take a critical approach to cyber assessment and authorization, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. Assist customers in overcoming their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like risk management and mitigation, defense-in-depth, and cyber continuous monitoring. Leverage expertise and gain experience in cyber engineering, enterprise networks, high performance computers, supercomputers, and cyber risk assessment while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cyber engineering, IT, or information assurance
Experience with NIST and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Knowledge of DoD security policy and requirements
Ability to develop DoD and Navy security authorization documentation and artifacts
Ability to develop and communicate recommendations for incorporating security requirements in DoD systems
Ability to perform validation and testing of security controls for DoD systems
Top Secret clearance
DoD IAT Level 2 Certification, including Security+ Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with eMASS and developing DoD authorization artifacts and documentation and processing an Authorization to Operate (ATO) for a Navy program
Experience with vulnerability assessment and scanning tools, including ACAS, and assessing system compliance with security controls
Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
Bachelor's degree
Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
