Staff Control Officer

Key Role:

Coordinates facilities and administrative services, including clerical and support services, printing, mail distribution, messenger services, and telecommunications. Applies specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, may review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or staffing setting

  • 1+ year of experience as a Staff Action Control Officer

  • Experience with managing and creating calendars, appointments, and Microsoft O365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of federal government departments, agencies, structures, or staff processes for DoD and military services

  • Ability to interact with internal and external senior-level employees in a professional manner and be proactive in anticipating business and administrative needs

  • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance 

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with government officials 

  • Experience in change management, strategic planning, culture change, or mid-to-large-scale transformation

  • Ability to multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent organizational and prioritization skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
