Site Security Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as Construction Site Security Manager, leveraging Construction Security Technicians (CST) and Construction Security Plan (CSP) to identify threats and risks seeking to successfully protect the integrity of facilities throughout the process of renovation projects as part of the larger Construction team and report to the Construction Project Manager. Serve as the point of contact regarding security on construction sites, manage daily schedules of project-assigned CSTs, negotiate construction schedules to ensure adherence to CSP and notify the proper US Government point of contact in the event of any issues and deviations are proposed by a contracted construction crew. Draft Standard Operating Procedures, Construction Security Plans, and Special Instructions governing the construction security surveillance function. Implement all aspects of the CSP, conduct daily periodic security inspections during core hours for the duration of projects to ensure compliance with the CSP. Document security violations or deviations from the CSP for the Govt., and work with the construction firms to ensure the security of the construction site and compliance with the requirements outlined in the CSP.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in construction security surveillance, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) construction, counterintelligence and surveillance operations, technical surveillance countermeasures, or a combination

  • 3+ years of experience with DOD or Federal Government Construction Projects

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience with construction security or BS degree and 6+ years of experience with construction security 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of construction guidelines and federal regulations

  • Knowledge of DOD Facilities Construction

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Certificate of completion of Twenty Hour or greater Site Security Manager Course or the ability to obtain said certification within 60 days of hire

  • Certificate of completion of Forty Hour or greater Site Security Manager Course or the ability to obtain said certification within 60 days of hire
