Air Battle Management Analyst

Key Role:

Apply comprehension of air battle management operations, functions, and activities, including control of assigned forces to project analysis. Outline the planning, organizing, and directing of project operations, including airspace control procedures, air defense and tactical missions, coalition integration, sensor system management, and data link operations. Utilize prior knowledge of the selection and employment of surveillance, combat, reporting, and data link management systems for project outcomes. Develop a Concept of Employment (CONEMP) and decision planning tool (DPT) to integrate DE systems with existing kinetic fires options to interdict airborne threats by conducting research, table-top exercises, rehearsal of concept (ROC) drills, and other events. Validate accuracy of CONEMP and DPT during simulation and wargame test events. Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex and highly sensitive systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation related to foreign threats and homeland security. Determine procedure for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems and perform and direct scientific and technical intelligence analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience as an Air Battle Manager (ABM)

-Knowledge of the Joint Targeting Cycle

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in Joint test and evaluation and JCIDS process

-Knowledge of next generation kinetic and non-kinetic fires a plus, including directed energy via laser and microwave

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Top Secret preferred

-MA or MS degree in a technical field

-PMP Certification preferred

-Graduate of US Air Force Weapons School
