Exercise/Test Planner

Key Role:

Provide Joint test planning, execution, and task order requirements, react to short notice personnel requirements, and coordinate all exercise requirements within the Joint exercise process and Joint Exercise Life Cycle and lead the development of any scenario or test requirements. Attend test venue planning conferences, including the concept development conference, initial planning, mid planning, and final planning events, and the MSEL development conference, as necessary. Maintain responsibility for the development of Detailed Test Plans in accordance with Test Director guidance, coordinate with analysts and the Data Manager on the Data Management and Analysis Plan, and coordinate with event Executive Agents for test insertion into appropriate venues. Coordinate all test requirements, including distributed collection, system access, remote site access, deployment schedules, remote site expectations, and special test resources. Consult on the organizing of diverse groups to build shared understanding of complex challenges and facilitate collective problem-solving, analysis, and implementation of new solutions and best practices. Consult with clients to monitor and review the systematic activities implemented in an organizational system so that mission requirements for a product or service will be fulfilled. Consult on the corresponding data analysis to design relevant, accurate, and realistic exercise materials that result in improved organizational mission performance.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with project management and schedule management

-Knowledge of test and evaluation methods

-Ability to communicate clearly in writing, orally, and speaking

-Secret clearance

-AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with FAST ABAD future wargames preferred

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Project

-Ability to manage multiple workstreams digitally

-BA or BS degree in a technical field preferred; MA or MS degree in a technical field a plus

-PMP or a Project Management-related Certification
