Job Description
Key Role:
Provide operational assessment support to a Service Component Headquarters organization. Develop and support exercise and operational assessment plans, analyze findings and results, and develop recommendations to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Review Combatant Command and Component Command Campaign Plans, strategic guidance, and Service guidance to help to establish measurable goals and objectives. Conduct operational-level assessments against internal and externally defined metrics. Develop risk assessments based on findings and analyses to facilitate resourcing and prioritization decisions. Draft and implement assessment collection plans to ensure data on operations, activities, and investments (OAI) is available. Prepare and deliver briefs on complex subjects using data analysis to inform and facilitate sound decision making.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with conducting operational assessments at the Combatant Command or Service Component level
Ability to develop measures of effectiveness and performance
Ability to draft and implement data collection plans
Ability to work independently
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with operational planning in the SOUTHCOM Area of Operation
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree
Graduate from Service Command and Staff College
Graduate of Joint Professional Military Education Phase I and II
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
