The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to help create technical synergy that will modernize air to ground, distributed, Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) training for a DoD client? As an integration engineer, you know the importance of ensuring simulations and systems function correctly to support training and mission rehearsal requirements. Additionally, you will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) to the fleet, providing training and support to a variety of end users.
On our team you’ll help execute test plans in a distributed simulation environment using Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN). You will assist with the federation of simulations within a High Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) environment. You will use your skills to develop realistic training scenarios and configure applications to support the functional configuration tests as prescribed by the client. During the test events you will be responsible for identifying discrepancies or failures, remediating as appropriate, and providing recommendations to resolve any outstanding issues. Upon acceptance of the system, you will be responsible for maintaining the system, to include applying software updates, hardware maintenance and replacement, tracking failures to identify trends, and providing operation training and support to end-users.

Basic Qualifications
Experience with reviewing and executing test plans in a complex environment
Experience with resolving discrepancies in test results and recommending corrective actions
Experience with operating and maintain host operating systems, including Windows and Red Hat
Experience with implementing software updates and patches and applying Standard Implementation Guidelines to maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance
Experience with troubleshooting networks across a LANs and WANs
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s Degree
Security +, Network +, Red Hat, or Windows Certification
Additional Qualifications:
6 + years of experience in an exercise or training environment and planning and executing integrated test events
Experience with Wireshark
Experience with Virtual Battle Space 3/4
Experience with military flight simulators
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
