Everyone is trying to “harness the power of the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a Cloud Architect, you know how to build a cloud based technical architecture that meets customer needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to deliver cloud solutions for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to analysts processing, exploiting, disseminating (PED) battlespace intelligence? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions to some of ISR analyst’s toughest challenges.

As a Cloud Architect on our team, you’ll be part of a high-valued agile team that designs, architects, implements, and releases the next generation of ISR solutions within a secure, cloud-based communications enterprise to support mission critical warfighting operations. You’ll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on premise, cloud based, and hybrid resources. You’ll lead your team as they help the customer overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with ISR analysts and warfighting planners to ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your customer’s environment using current cloud capabilities. You’ll be able to sharpen your skills in implementing, maintaining, and improving enterprising solutions through on-demand availability of computer system resources, including data storage and computing power to streamline your data center with hyperconverged infrastructures (HCIs). You’ll compute, store, and network with unified management and security for the delivery of secure hybrid cloud architectures, while developing critical systems for ISR analysts providing critical battlespace intelligence to warfighting elements. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build cloud-based solutions to help your customers meet their evolving needs. You Have:

• 3 years of experience with designing, developing, deploying, and testing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and using tools, including EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, VPCs, security groups, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and IAM permissions
• 3 years of experience with designing, building, and implementing automation tools and infrastructure as code, including Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a DoD IAT Level II or III Certification within 6 months of start date

Nice If You Have:

• 1 year of experience in working with microservices and containerization, including orchestration, cluster management, and container storage, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher
• Experience with developing CI or CD pipelines
• Experience with securing and hardening operating systems, applications, and containers
• Experience with application management and providing high availability and resilient solutions using methods, including clustering or failover
• Experience with an Agile release methodology
• Knowledge of information assurance compliance to specified standards, including DoD STIGs and ICD 503
• BA or BS degree
• DoD IAT Level II or III Certification
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
