Cybersecurity Analyst

Key Role:  

Lead the development and submission of Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages. Perform responsibilities in each of the six steps of the RMF process. Implement security controls and hardening on various operating systems in accordance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Requirements Guides (SRG). Coordinate and interface with system administrators and network engineers to ensure that systems and networks are configured to meet DoD requirements for Cybersecurity.

Basic Qualification: 

  • 5+ years of experience with Navy Information Assurance or cybersecurity

  • 1 year of experience with Risk Management Framework implementation 

  • Experience with providing senior subject matter expertise in a cyber domain, including vulnerability assessment and scanning tools, assessing system compliance with security controls

  • Experience with using eMASS to populate required artifacts to support an authorization decision

  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) Security Technical Implementation Guides or Security Requirement Guide and Navy cybersecurity policies and requirements

  • Ability to work independently to develop and lead the development of RMF Assessment & Authorization documentation and artifacts to obtain RMF Authority to Operate

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), CISM, CISSP, GIAC-GSLC, or CASP certification

Additional Qualification: 

  • Experience with executing Navy RMF or A&A processes, implementation of risk assessment methodologies

  • Experience with ACAS scan configuration and execution

  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
