Navigation Engineering Technican

Key Role:

Perform complex and unique assignments that require application of basic principles and theories of US Navy navigation systems. Analyze the development of new test plans and procedures. Conduct tests and experiments in laboratories and onboard US Navy vessels. Train and oversee the work of junior technicians, as needed.
 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 14+ years of experience with hands on troubleshooting of Navy electronics equipment
  • 8+ years of experience with the installation of Navy electronics equipment
  • 4+ years of experience with the design, preparation and modification of engineering documents, and drawings
  • Secret clearance
  • AA or AS degree in Electronics, Electrical, Engineering Technology, or a technical field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
