Supplier Payables Manager

The Opportunity:

As a professional in Business Services, you have the experience and skills to ensure our Delivery Hub operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients. You know how to interface with internal and external customers and leadership to understand needs and gain insight on Business Services performance.

As the manager of the Accounts Payable, Supplier Payables, team you will perform managerial, auditing and development responsibilities, including policy, compliance training and communication, forecasting, system, SOX/DFARs audit and controls, and team management.

How You’ll Contribute: 

  • Manage the team and day to day operations for Supplier Payables.

  • Develop and manage Supplier Payable policies and procedures. 

  • Ensure strict adherence to both internal and external regulations and collaborate with compliance teams. 

  • Oversee the approval process of submitted invoices. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to suppliers. 

  • Develop and implement training programs for internal and external clients to understand policies, systems, and procedures.

  • Prepare regular reports for senior management detailing the status of AP, issues, and recommendations for improvements. 

  • Assist in the budgeting process by providing data and projections related to Supplier Payables costs.

  • Advise on the management and optimization of AP technologies and partner with IT for upgrades and troubleshooting. 

  • Resolve complex issues or disputes.

  • Align processes with SOX/DFARs guidelines and implement and maintain necessary controls.

You Have: 

  • 7+ years of experience with accounts payable 

  • Experience leading multiple teams, processes, and systems 

  • Experience supporting system implementation and upgrades 

  • Experience with Microsoft, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 

  • Knowledge of Government Contracting compliance 

  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels 

  • Ability to identify and drive process improvements forward 

  • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures 

  • Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy 

  • HS diploma or GED  


Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with Ivalua, Costpoint, Concur and Oversight 

  • Experience with electronic invoicing platforms, such as Transcepta 

  • Knowledge of E-Payables and related platforms 

  • Bachelors degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
