Supplier Services Operations Team Supervisor

The Opportunity: 

As a professional in Business Services, you have the experience and skills to ensure our Delivery Hub operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients. You know how to interface with internal market leaders, suppliers, and leadership to understand needs and gain insight on Business Services performance.

Your role as a Supplier Services Operations Team Supervisor is pivotal in meeting our business needs by efficiently managing internal operations. You'll seamlessly coordinate tasks to ensure our objectives are achieved promptly. Your responsibilities will include supervising the Procurement Operations Specialist, enforcing Booz Allen policies, and ensuring quality assurance. Additionally, you'll be managing schedules, overseeing team performance, fostering collaboration, conducting performance reviews, and engaging with suppliers for document renewal, Non-Disclosure Agreement establishment, and serving as an elevated purchase requisition power user responsible for translating and reviewing purchase requisition forms, and fostering seamless communication with stakeholders and suppliers. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Oversee Procurement Operations Specialist staff in day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate team activities to ensure high-quality output, and address and report on escalations from the team and customers.
  • Ensure escalated requests are closed within the required timeframe.
  • Manage team schedules for optimal team coordination between tasks and offer coaching to the team to improve skills and capabilities.
  • Track KPIs and SLAs to measure team productivity.
  • Contribute expertise to continuous improvement initiatives, report on performance updates and operational issues, and provide performance feedback to team members.
  • Monitor procurement systems for expiration due dates of representations and certifications, certificates of insurance, and executive compensation such as COI and FFATA, and issue renewal forms to suppliers to update.
  • Conduct compliance review of documents for accuracy and consistency and resolving errors and omissions with renewals.
  • Use attention to detail when handling urgent requests and maintaining meticulous records.
  • Navigate non-disclosure negotiations with potential suppliers to protect our interests and make wise decisions regarding escalation protocols.
  • Receive, monitor, review, and process purchase requisition forms, entering specified field data into a purchase requisition, confirming accuracy and completeness, and validating appropriate attachments are included prior to submittal.
  • Identify and input applicable Commodity Code on all purchase requisitions.
  • Ensure team compliance with Booz Allen policies and standards.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with procurement and supplier management
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively report performance leveraging reporting tools and data analysis
  • Ability to collect and analyze data from multiple sources, summarize it appropriately, and read and interpret contractual requirements
  • Ability to identify, research, discuss and resolve administrative and compliance issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives
  • Ability to identify and drive process improvements forward
  • Associate’s degree

  • Experience with workflow systems such as ServiceNow
  • Experience with source-to-pay systems such as Ivalua
  • Experience supporting contracts in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
  • Ability to communicate in daily interactions with internal and external clients and within a team
  • Ability to deliver quality customer service effectively and efficiently
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
