The Challenge:
As a logistics engineer, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. What if you could use your engineering expertise and process improvement experience towards developing tools for U.S. government clients? As a logistics engineer, you have an in-depth understanding of government systems and material specifications and know that using tools and software, including Failure Modes and Criticality Analysis (FMCA), is critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We need your skills and knowledge in identifying root problems and reliability management to coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.
As a logistics engineer on our team, you’ll provide logistics expertise to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with complex integrated systems, understanding of material specifications, and government or contractor material is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions.
In this role, you’ll use your engineering logistics and materials expertise to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You’ll partner with senior team members and apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution.

You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with integrated logistics support
- Experience managing activities for strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, controlling inventory, warehousing, or receiving
- Experience with a DoD Supply System and RMF processes, and how it relates to Logistics and Supply Chain management
- Ability to define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, including product cost or quality
- Ability to implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance and direct the allocation of materials, supplies, and products, and develop strategies to minimize the cost or time required to transport goods
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
