Systems Engineer and Enterprise Architect

As a systems engineer on our team, you produce approaches and models for government agencies and services, including Navy, Air Force, Army, and Marines, using systems design life cycle processes, including design, requirements analysis, systems analysis, human factors, development, system-of-systems integration, acquisition planning, test and evaluation, mission and capability planning, and reliability and maintainability of systems. You’ll develop knowledge of systems concepts, including capability, life cycle, hierarchy, systems context, interfaces, and interactions. You Have:

  • Experience with government agencies or services, including the Navy, Air Force, Army, and Marines
  • Experience with radio and communication systems, and C4ISR mission areas
  • Experience in system development lifecycle areas such as database design, applications, networking, software, including MATLAB, CAD, or Python, or numerical methods and data science
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Business Information Systems Management, CS, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE), systems architecture, or model development
  • Experience with enterprise architecture, model-based enterprise architecture (MBEA), data modeling, analytics, and systems analysis and design
  • Experience using frameworks, including UAF, DoDAF, UPDM, UML, or SysML, or tools, including MagicDraw, System Architect, or Enterprise Architect
  • Knowledge of system development life cycle elements, including system definition, development, design, analysis, requirements management and control, integration, and testing
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework, Cloud Solutions, sensors, systems, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Ontologies, OWL, and RDF
  • Ability to foster open communication and build trust on teams
  • Possession of excellent systems thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • UAF, OCSMP, CSEP, Enterprise Architecture, or Lean Six Sigma Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
