The Opportunity:
What if you could use your skills to improve the design, development, and deployment of applications into an Integrated Digital Environment to transform how capabilities are delivered to support our client's mission? We need you to help us develop and manage container management software to improve the quality, security, and efficiency of to solve some of our client's toughest challenges.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will use your experience to streamline the software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll be expected to leverage modern DevOps practices using the latest technologies to improve and modernize our clients' environments. You will get to configure CI/CD pipelines and manage container orchestration platforms. Using your technical knowledge, you will work directly with your clients to inform strategy and design, while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process, software integration, cloud architecture, and Kubernetes.

You Have:
10+ years of experience managing infrastructure in an enterprise environment
3+ years of experience managing infrastructure within a Cloud Service Provider, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
3+ years of experience setting up, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipelines
Experience designing highly scalable, fault tolerant systems
Ability to effectively communicate with end-users and engineers to ensure that new models are in-line with architectural standards
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and using tools to automate repeatable processes to simplify infrastructure management
Knowledge of Networking, Storage, Compute, and Database fundamentals
Knowledge of operating systems, including Linux, UNIX, Ubuntu, or Red Hat
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of DevOps experience in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience mentoring or supervising employees within a cross-functional, highly collaborative team environment
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Lambda or Docker
Experience building enterprise cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Docker, or Jenkins
Experience writing scripts using tools, such as Python, Bash, or Boto3
Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) Process
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Architect, or CompTIA Cloud+ Certification
VMware Certified Professional, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
