Facilities Planner

Key Role:

Lead the selection of location and development of client facilities requirements and approaches to achieve the desired functional end-state and to support the Firm’s Real Estate (RE) Strategy. Develop solutions based on advanced principles within the real estate, facilities and construction trades. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing, reviewing, analyzing, and updating Basic Facility Requirements (BFRs) and project scoping document

  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and analyzing operational requirements or proposing changes to BFRs, facility use, and facility assignments data

  • Experience drafting site plan concepts or floor plan concepts and feasibility analysis and developing associated cost impact analysis

  • Knowledge of CAD or GIS tools to analyze and model civil and utility information, maps, drawings, and aerial photography to develop planning documents and requirements

  • Knowledge of U.S. government planning standards and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)

  • Ability to maintain a consistent interface with multiple stakeholders, coordinate and facilitate workshops to develop plans, and maintain planning schedules

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with review of Basic Criteria Packages (BCPs), collateral equipment identification and budgeting, and project execution to ensure compliance with the Master Plan

  • Knowledge of internet Facilities Asset Data System (iNFADS) and the Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS)

  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Order 11000.12, Real Property Facilities Manual, and Facilities Planning and Programming

  • Ability to propose changes to and provide alternatives for compatibility with the Master Plan and schedule, including planning and engineering studies and zoning criteria, such as noise, airfield and airspace criteria, explosives quantity distance criteria, aircraft accident potential, flood hazards, erosion control, and natural resources protection

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
