Logistics Analyst

Key Role:

Direct and coordinate program activities and support engineering design to provide customers, management, and subcontractors with logistics technology that ensure effective and economical support concerned with manufacturing or servicing of products, systems, or equipment. Apply specific functional knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with maintaining accurate program Collateral Equipment (CE) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and project required equipment and material
  • Experience with programming, planning, and procurement of CE and GFE
  • Experience with researching technical CE and GFE, or project required equipment and material specifications
  • Experience with reviewing facility construction project scoping documents, criteria packages, and designs
  • Experience with participating in the development, review, and recommending changes to facilities requirements across multiple facility projects through the course of each project’s development
  • Experience with the management and coordination of CE and GFE across multiple stakeholders, including internal and external to the USMC and with the host nation to collect requirements for outfitting projects for end-users and developing recommendations to the government
  • Ability to develop plans and processes, and track requisition, ensuring CE and GFE requirements align with facility construction
  • Ability to serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for the client’s Project Management team, and any associated logistics personnel, for the allocation and use of all warehouse space
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS Teams
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, tools, safety equipment, materials, and material handling equipment to perform warehousing material receipt, material handling, issue, customer service, and inventory management and disposition
  • Knowledge of Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) and Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), and Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) systems
  • Knowledge of USG planning standards, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs), U.S. laws, Executive Orders, and DoD, Navy, and USMC regulations
  • Ability to maintain and manage the stock control database, inventory, provide weekly inventory reports, project build layouts, and daily copies of all issued and received receipts
  • Ability to coordinate with the GFE Manager in the development of weekly and monthly summary reports
  • Ability to assist the management of warehousing support for receiving, storing, issuing, delivering, inventory, and accountability of CE, GFE, and project required equipment and materials
  • Ability to coordinate project build and staging of equipment curtailed for each project, preparing necessary documentation for material identified as damaged during receipt, internal cannibalization, and execution of disposition
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
