Inventory Management Specialist

Key Role:

Operate a store room supporting depot overhauls and maintenance. Receive, issue, and store parts using web-based inventory management tools. Ship parts and material within the United States and overseas. Create and maintain inventory records. Perform inventory accuracy checks. Implement existing, new, and evolving inventory management and ensure compliance. Communicate regularly and in a professional manner to provide satisfactory solutions with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.     

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with working in DoD supply support and inventory management

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of DoD supply support systems and technology

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with using the DoD’s Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP)

  • Experience in working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

  • Knowledge of DoD maintenance support activities

  • Knowledge of DoD Operating Material and Supply policies and procedures

  • Knowledge of U.S. Navy operating and supply policies and procedures

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
