EOD Training Facilitator

Key Role:

Perform as an Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Training Facilitator and maintain responsibility for the research, analysis, management, and implementation of current Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) of standard and non-standard EOD operational and training Mission Essential Tasks (METs), including energetic and mechanical tools used throughout the range of EOD missions and operations. Demonstrate the employment of traditional and emerging TTPs, concepts, requirements, and EOD dynamic, explosive, and energetic tools used during EOD operations. Teach, coach, and advise in a classroom and field training environment and develop and implement training via classroom and practical forums from individual to collective tasks for the EOD occupational specialty. Exhibit general and direct support expertise in Contiguous U.S. (CONUS) and Outside the Contiguous U.S. (OCONUS) EOD response processes from Team Leader operations to Battalion Staff support roles. Facilitate operations in a EOD Company-level atmosphere and plan training, exercises, and lateral support in a deployed and garrison training environment. Create and adjust training plans, including implementation and evaluation of EOD METs and TTPs in accordance with current service policies, regulations, and publications. This position will require travel to training locations in support of EOD and non-EOD organizations and is located in East Phoenix and Chandler AZ.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with U.S. Military service

-8+ years of experience with EOD Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)

-4+ years of experience with military training development, execution, and recovery

-Experience as a team leader during military deployment

-Knowledge of Weapons Technical Intelligence (WTI) processes and procedures

-Ability to travel in support of the Army client between 25-50% of the time

-Secret clearance

-Associate’s degree

-Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician Certification

-Graduate of Naval School of Explosive Ordnance Disposal

Additional Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience as a military educational instructor

-Experience in EOD staff member roles at the Battalion-level

-Experience with Battle Staff and Battle Drill development and execution

-Experience with EOD support to Special Operations Forces (SOF)

-Knowledge of Ordnance and IED exploitation and processes

-Knowledge of homemade explosives and detection techniques

-Ability to deliver podium training in classroom environments

-Ability to create Microsoft Office products in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

-Ability to construct basic electronic circuits for training aid fabrication

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
